2021 Charles E. Green Star Radio Reporter: Alan Scaia

Alan Scaia’s stories cover a wide range of subjects as a general assignment reporter at KRLD. He reflects on his experience covering the Timberview High School shooting and the death of an inmate at the Collin County jail.

“Radio is tough because radio is changing rapidly,” he said. He advised students wanting to enter the field to consider many forms of audio storytelling, including podcasting.
