Star Photojournalist Features Slices of Life Along the Coast

From a pair of laughing Navy officers to coastal shrimpers captured in golden light, Corpus Christi Caller-Times photojournalist Courtney Sacco’s portfolio showcases a variety of life experiences along the Gulf Coast and the state of Texas.

“I think an important thing is to keep an open mind and to be open to hearing people’s stories,” Sacco told Foundation Chairman Mark Morrison. “We have a responsibility and a kind of honor to tell these kinds of stories.”
