Kent Cornish

Judge Bio:

Following 13 years as President/Executive Director of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters, Kent Cornish retired at the end of 2020.  His broadcast career before that included 17 years as a general manager for television stations in Topeka and Wichita.  Prior to that he worked in news and operations for 15 years.  Kent was inducted into the Kansas Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2021 and was named the Distinguished Service Award recipient the same year.

He currently serves as board chairman for the Sunflower State Games, is a member of the William Allen White Foundation Board of Trustees, and serves on the board of the Kansas Sunshine Coalition for Open Government.
