Howard Falkenberg

Howard Falkenberg, a senior communications strategist, is president of Staats Falkenberg, a Texas-based marketing communications company. Howard began his professional career as a broadcast journalist in San Antonio and Austin, but he has served as an advisor to corporations, institutions and governmental agencies for nearly 40 years. He specializes as a communications strategist for organizations engaged in complex public affairs and legal issues, while his company provides messaging, branding, advertising, publicity and online marketing services to clients in health care, real estate and development, finance and non-profit fields. An involved community leader, Howard has served as chairman of the Capital Area Transportation Coalition and the Austin Area Urban League and as president of the Austin Area Research Organization. He received the 2002 Lifetime Achievement award from the Austin Advertising Federation.
