This special was an original concept. The idea was to take a tour of Europe...Texas style. In the Lone Star State, there are many towns that have ties to the regions and cities of the same name in Europe. This special focused on exploring the historical and cultural ties each of these Texas cities have to their European counterparts. The goal for each of the elements in the web article and video was to share pieces of history and facts about Texas that many may not know. The desire of this piece was to enlighten viewers and readers alike and showcase the diversity and stories of triumph that Texas was built upon.
